Many couples who choose to have a secular or nondenominational wedding work with their officiant to add personal touches like anecdotes and creative traditions. A secular wedding ceremony includes nonreligious wording, vows and readings while a nondenominational wedding ceremony might include religious references. Pricing begins at $150 (travel within Ohio is included). Additional costs include but are not limited to: Assistance writing personalized vows and/or attending the rehearsal. We do not stay for the reception, as this is a time of celebration with family and friends.
A Document signing ceremony is for those who don't want a ceremony and only want their marriage license signed (without witnesses). As an officiant of the state of Ohio, I am required to follow minimal guidelines that make a marriage legal. For this reason there will be an expression of intent to marry, abbreviated vows, and a pronouncement of marriage with the Document Signing Ceremony. Pricing begins at $50 (travel not included). If you travel to my location no charge for travel will be added.
An elopement is a simple ceremony that is short and sweet, usually around 5 minutes long. The ceremony script has been pre-written and you have the option to add your own vows and/or a reading. The entire focus is on the couple and creating a little bit of magic just around them. There is no walking down the aisle or wedding party in attendance. There’s often nothing to set up or take down. We cap our elopement guest count at 10 (remember, a true elopement is just the couple!). It’s an intimate wedding meant just for you two and a couple of your closest people, should you choose to include them. Pricing begins at $75 (travel not included). If you travel to my location no charge for travel will be added.
